Ambassador Program
Lead the Dropstone hub in your city.
The Ambassador Program is for the engineer who wants to define how AI-assisted development looks in their city. You host the events, we hand you the budget, the early builds, and the team's attention. The goal is simple: put Dropstone in front of the people shipping with AI, in real rooms, every month.

How it works
1. Apply
Tell us about your city, your community, and the kind of events you want to run. We look for builders who are already active in their local dev scene.
2. Onboard
Once approved, we set you up with the ambassador kit: budget, swag, Max licenses, and templates for events. A team member walks you through the first 90 days.
3. Host
Run at least one Dropstone event per quarter. Meetups, workshops, hack nights, demo days. We help with speakers, content, and promotion.
4. Grow
Hit your hosting targets and you graduate into the senior ambassador track: bigger budget, paid travel to other Dropstone hubs, and a spot in our annual summit lineup.
Who can apply
- •You live in a city where at least 100 software engineers are active in local meetups or developer communities.
- •You can commit to one Dropstone event per quarter for at least 12 months.
- •You are comfortable speaking publicly, moderating panels, or hosting workshops.
- •You are not currently an ambassador for a directly competing AI coding tool.
Frequently asked
Do I need to be a full-time developer?
No. We have ambassadors who are full-time engineers, indie hackers, founders, and devrel professionals. The bar is community presence, not job title.
Is the role paid?
The role is not a salaried position. You receive event budget, free Max access, travel to the summit, and a paid speaking honorarium at the summit. Many ambassadors also book paid speaking gigs off the back of the role.
What if my city already has an ambassador?
Larger cities can have multiple ambassadors covering different neighborhoods or audiences. Apply anyway and we will pair you with the existing lead.
Ready to start?
